★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here for 3 nights with my mom. It was an okay stay, not very outstanding. Did not really feel like we stayed at a 5-star Hotel.
• Location
It's located very near to the Haram, they have their own tower. It takes around 2 - 3 minutes to walk to the Haram. Easy to locate and find.
• Room
I stayed in a room for two people, with two small size beds. The room is quite small compared to other hotels that I've stayed in. Not many space left for other activities.
• Bathroom
Small, the floor is not very clean.
• Foods & restaurants
There are two restaurants in two different floors. I got a little bit of complaint here for the food. They have the "western food section" and "indonesian food" section. Guests from Indonesia can not eat in the western food section, and I think that's weird because the food variation in the indo food section is VERY little compared to the western, especially during breakfast.
For breakfast, they only serve us with rice, boiled egg, and ONE dish that's not even proper for breakfast:/ but they also have breads, jams, etc. I am really dissapointed in their breakfast food.
However, during lunch and dinner, the foods are usually GREAT, like chef's kiss GREAT. Still very little variety of food but well thats okay since they all taste good.
Overall, the facilities are great, cleanliness is okay, the lunch & dinner are GREAT, but breakfast is disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location to reach Haram in 1 minute. Clean friendly staff fantastic when preforming Omra . When arriving you need to walk 5 minutes but after that you can pray in Haram without needing to get a taxi or walk long distance. Three restaurants in the hotel and easy access to local amenities with served water and tea coffee daily. Will definitely book again thanks to staff and management. Seven lifts in operation. Reception staff very helpful 24 hour.

But quite hard to reach the hotel with Taxi
Beds are comfortable but rooms are small, acceptable.
Get ready to receive the calls from reception while sleeping during ur stay to remind you about check out time. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room are pretty small and not exactly same as they shown in pics.
The hotel needs some serious upgrades, specially the carpet are quite old.
The only good thing about the hotel is its location, Bangladeshi staff is pretty supportive and Mr. Khan who follow ups on all of your issues. Rest of the staff is a mess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very close to haram but impossible to access with a taxi (please be careful of this if you are arriving/leaving with luggage). Rooms are dated and very small. Hotel staff are either non existent or unhelpful with no one being able to understand English fluently. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends or family. Very disappointed with the hotel experience

I stayed in Elaf Kinda for 9 nights and not even a single day I could get in my room without having issues with the key card. Every single day I had to go reception to swipe ? the key card or to have new replaced one. Many guests has been having the similar issue. I've spoken to the hotel manager in reception, he told me it's not upto him and he can't do anything on this.
Also, this hotel needs few staffs who can actually communicate with guests in English, for example if I call room service he use to hang up because he couldn't speak English...
Similar issue with the one and only female receptionist who can't speak or understand any English and she seemed so confused, aggressive and irresponsible. The hotel rate I would give 3*, the windows are very dirty, those who already stayed can witnessed everything I mentioned here. It's definitely not international standard!
Lastly, I personally thank all the Bangladeshi workers of this hotel they've been extremely polite and helpful if any credit left, then it goes to them. The Arab staffs are completely useless!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would rate this 5 star hands down. Great customer service, great room service and fantastic breakfast buffet. But I am rating it 2 so people know that this hotel has no access for cars, buses or taxis. If you are carrying more than one suitcase then this hotel is not for you. You're taxi will not be allowed to cross the checkpoints. It's 30 min walk. The fourth checkpoint is strictly blocked for any people coming in. I showed the security my reservation and still he didn't let me pass. I was lucky to have found 2 guys who know the system I guess, and portered my two luggage to the hotel. And then when we checked out, same issue. My taxi couldn't clear any check points because it was a big van with no passenger. So the hotel bellman got my luggage all the way through 2 checkpoints. From there I had to hire a small taxi, load my 3 suitcases at this point, for SR 20 for a 2 min drive where my transportation was waiting for me. Just ridiculous how it's a nightmare with the no taxi access to the hotel. If you are not carrying any suitcases then it's the best hotel. Otherwise completely opposite. For families with luggage, please select any hotel inside the clock tower, they all have access to transport in the basement.
