It's great, the airport is there.
There are a few things I really liked about this airport.

Suttel bus to all terminal for free

Entrance for departure from terminal 5

Local all ticket for available and free service inside Saudi arbia

Arrival gate with mama bunz coffee shop near the taxi service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a calm and smooth transition during Saturday.. after lunch i am an Expat and I've heard it's packed daily... today(Saturday) it is smooth. There is even not a line outside i go straight inside the airport..
Terminal 1 is for expats. I suggest go here direct if traveling.
If you go to terminal 5 then it will take you another bus to go to terminal 1.

An expansion of Terminal 2 would be an excellent addition.
Overall I had a nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent size airport with amenities for basic travel. Not much advisable for family travelers as the boarding gates are not prioritizing family travelers, also there was no Zoning boarding, therefore, going inside the plane took longer queue. Wifi is also not that strong and there was not much choices in their Duty Free shop.
