★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's currently under renovation by the Madina government. It's near the Dark Al Hijra school. Ghars is one of the wells preferred by the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), for its freshness and from which water was usually brought to him, and the Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: “When I die, wash me with seven water-skins from al-Ghars Well. He also used to drink from this well.”
The renovation is near completion but the people are allowed to visit inside. Do recommend to visit if you are interested in Islamic historical sites.
It can be visited thru different touring companies especially the ones for haj and Umrah. So do ask while booking your Umrah and visit to holy sites if they will take you here also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a sacred place, Prophet Muhammd PBUH favorites well and even he instructed in his will to give him ghusl from the water of this well after his wisaal, currently the renovation is in progress and hopefully the water will be available to general public by May 2022
