The narrators are mentioned as well as the author of the book “Marat”, brother Abdullah Al Duwaihi That Well Al-Walidi was attributed to Khalid bin Al-Walid, who went down several times. This is the opinion and opinion prevailing among many of the people of the town of Marat. Rather, it is believed that it is one of the oldest and most important wells for people and farms that have accompanied the town since its inception, and the elderly from the region know nothing about it except that. Perhaps the sapphire of al-Hamawi in the dictionary of countries, which is one of the oldest references to which it is attributed, did not explicitly mention the descent of Khalid bin al-Walid in the town, but it was mentioned that many times did not enter into the reconciliation of al-Yamamah, which was between him and famine. One of the results of that was the captivity of her family. Then he said: After that, the sons of Imra’a al-Qais bin Zaid Manat bin Tamim lived in it. This is sufficient for us to indicate or compare the narrations and verify their authenticity, which is likely for many that Khalid descended in the town due to his need for water and temporary residence during the wars of the apostates during the reign of Caliph Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him.

Historical place where the honorable companion Khalid ibne Walid may Allah be pleased with him, was stayed while he was on his way to Yamamah to fight against apostates, during his stay with his great army he ordered to dig the Well as the stream water was insufficient to fulfill the needs of the army. The Well and small masjid attracting many tourists here.
