I witnessed These ruins and remains of the Fort Kaab bin Ashraf, who was a wealthy jew poet in the time of Prophet Mohamad SAWW. There can be seen the fort external and internal walls, rooms and abandoned structure of the fort. The place gives a fearful thought at first sighting. The black rocky stone was used to construct this structure.

A few date trees and a very rough place, quite off the road. A lot of attention needed.

Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf was per Islamic texts a Jewish leader in Medina and a poet. He was killed on the order of the Islamic prophet Muhammad PBUH after the battle of Badr.

A place to learn the lesson that the end of disbelieversis not good. This guy Kaab Bin Ashraf used foul language against the prophet Muhammad PBUH and Muslim men and women in general. He conspired and went to Makkah to encourage the polytheists to wage war against the muslims and vowed his support. The companions when they heard about it decided to kill him. 2 companions with prophet's permission became close friends of Kaab and one night came to his fort, called him out and asked to smell the nice perfume he was wearing. As he drew close, one companion held his head by the hair and the other slit his throat. Kaab's wife had warned him not to answer the call of the two companions the night they called him out to kill him.

These are the remains of the fort of Ka’b bin Ashraf, an extremely wealthy Jewish poet who stirred up great hatred for the Prophet (ﷺ) and the Muslims. He was killed here in 3 A.H. on the orders of the Prophet (ﷺ).
