A religious and national heritage which should have been maintained and preserved in better manner. Area and surrounding requires some attention by concerned authorities. Prophet Muhammad PBUH was given gussal with water of this well once he was passed away from this world at the age of 63.

Located approximately one kilometer north of Masjid Quba, the Al-Ghars well was a place from which the Prophet (ﷺ) drank and made a request that he be bathed with its water after his demise. Ibn Majar quoted Ali ibn Abu Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) as saying, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When I die, wash me with seven waterskins from Al-Ghars Well. He (ﷺ) also used to drink from this well.”
