★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have not stayed there, just visited. Looks amazing. Landscape is beautiful. Recreational facilities are beyond your imagination - easily 3x of any other compound. Its expensive than most others but what you get in return is also worth considering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am British expat looking for a suitable compound for my family. We were considering Al Hamra as this is close to my children’s school.
However after reading the following rule it is the last place I would like to live. This is totally disrespectful of local Saudi culture and out right racism. How do you think a driver will feel being asked to stay in his car because he is in national dress. OMG!!
And what does that say about residents. I can only imagine people complained and/or requested this discriminatory rule to be put in place.
Dress Code
AOVC has a strict “western dress” policy, where Local Thob / Abaya are not allowed in all public areas. Additionally, only proper swimwear is allowed when using the pool facilities.
Furthermore, drivers wearing “Saudi dress” must stay in their vehicle and not wander around.
Please remind your guests of this policy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bad furniture please it needs a major upgrade .. and as for the new K9 UNITS in charge of security it’s a very well thought of strategy I applaud AOVC for making this possible. As for THE management and the friendly staff specially Assistant Manger MR. Rami Bitar have consistently served the community for years with all kindness and professionalism as I am a resident for over 10 years. LETS GET HAMRA A MAKEOVER—

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The compound it self it's well maintain. However I believe it's a bit pricey since the houses are all dated (old). However you have the British school just beside and the bright school inside.
