Everything was top in the hospital, from the doctors to the staff and nurses. The facilities, the nice rooms, the caring were all great! Please keep it up!!! Only the guy in the laboratory for the blood test is a bit rude (Indian looking) and some ladies in the reception desk needs to be a little faster when serving patients apart from that all great! Thank you so much

Reception is not corporative, they are don't respond, So far all doctors are quite good. They don't even understand English, only speak in Arabic not a single word in English. One of Doctor have personally come to reception and translate from English to Arabic.

The worst experiences I've ever had in an ER. Waiting times in the ER can reach an average of 1 hour and people waiting are picked at random without any regard of First Come First Serve. When the staff are confronted about this issue, they say that the people picked should not take alot of time and that's why they were prioritized then proceed to keep them in the diagnosis room for up to 40 minutes. This is not the first time I have faced this issue with SMC ER King Fahad Road. Such a pathetic service that is not even worthy of a grocery store.

First time visits are good, but never come for a follow up. You will be the last one to get to meet the doctor. Your impression is bound to nosedive.

Blood test waiting for male is now fully packed there maybe 40 people waiting and only one nurse is taking blood. This should be the easiest step in an hospital but it is so slow that you can not imagine!

This must be the worst emergency department in the kingdom! I've been a patient at SMC since I stepped foot in Riyadh, and my husband was their patient long before then, and every time, literally, we visit the ER an issue occurs. Yesterday, at 3:00 a.m, when visited the ER, they had my husband go back and forth to the administrative desk several times before even having the doctor check on me. The receptionist stated that our insurance was not working, and that it does not cover SMC, knowing that I visited the outpatient clinics less than a month ago, and he was shown the necessary documents and our insurance network on the app! My husband tried to explain and asked to pay cash, as long as they start with the necessary treatment, but the assistant wasn't even listening! And when I came from my room asking to speak to the patient services director, someone (which I am not aware of his position) tried to shut me up stating "Mam, please go inside, I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to your husband". The issue in the end turned out to be a glitch in SMC's system, where they refunded our money after paying cash. But actually, this is not the main issue here. The main issue is that this is a hospital dealing with patients' health and lives, and they truly don't care about the latter. I mean, what happened to ethical principles such as "beneficence/ non-maleficence" and "do no harm"?! What happened to patients' rights including being treated with dignity and respect, and the provision of respectful care? I mean, the hospital is in desperate need for lots of quality improvement and training to its not so professional staff on discriminatory behaviour and communication with patients! What a shame, truly.

Non professional reception. Always have to wait too long. Not due to queue. Staff is super slow and don’t know their system well. Does not speak English. Pharmacy is super slow as well. They always have a problem with system. Call center takes ages to answer. Once you reach they will drop the line once they realize that you don’t speak arabic.

Always a good experience. The fast service, immediate action on inquiries, good line up of medicines, and experienced doctors makes up a good hospital. Its very clean and well maintained. It is one of the best hospitals in Riyadh.
