★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saudi post is safe, offers best rates to which none of private competitors come close. I utilised parcel service for overseas which was sent in cardboard box of fixed dimensions set as per rules of SAUDI post . Boxes are available at site which need to be closed with contents at site after inspection from official to avoid sending any of banned item that would lead to stalling/rejection/fine/confiscation or non delivery of parcels.
Staff is helpful and efficient in their work how ever if not communicating in Arabic a bit of delay due language barrier is expected,but work gets done and perception of language issues helps understanding expected timeline delay.
The box carry weight of 5,10,20,30 kg the fees vary depending on if sending as fast delivery parcels or not the variation of price between fast and regular delivery is between 20 to 50 SAR ,higher the weight lesser the variation in charge.
The downside is sometimes box of desired weight holding may not be available and one may have to split contents for two boxes of lesser available weight holding,increasing cost burden.
Tracking number are provided,and parcel can be traced through apps/ internet sites of EMS .Saudi post has its mobile application also which provides information pertaining to services provided.
Delivery was on time by SAUDI post ……
but slower than that what private companies verbally claimed for same services but i did not utilise their service and cannot endorsed their claim.
Crux is … reliable and better priced service
