Could be better organized. When you arrive early before boarding time, you are made to wait on the first floor. Then for some odd reason after you scan your boarding pass on the first floor, they make you go upstairs and wait on the second floor, so you wait there once more until the train is ready for boarding, and you are then made to go back down to the first floor where the trains are. The up and down is just a bit silly IMO.
There are clean washroom/toilet facilities and prayer rooms. Not many food choices, as not many shops are yet established.
The people at the station are very helpful. There are luggage assistants available to help with loading your from your car and once again onto the train. You are allowed to bring your own food onto the train. There is also a small cafe on the train.
The train itself is fantastic. Clean, smooth ride and nice and quiet. You have to book early if you want the seats that come facing each other with a table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing facility! Only 2 hours and 20 min to Madinah from Makkah - this will alleviate travelers’ pain to find a taxi (now costlier alternative) between the two holy cities.
Everything looks as clean and tidy as day 1 - indeed the station, facilities and the train themselves have not been heavily used. Yet very happy to see that they have been maintained to date.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful, most elegant, modern railway stations I have been into over the entire world. The details of the design are breath taking, and the smooth processing of the trips from the booking till arrival is highly appreciated. However, this new place starts to show some wear and tears usage effect in areas like the mosque. I hope that they guard its exceptional beauty with a proper maintenance.

Have all kinds of facilities that will help travelers for better travel experience. Still there is no restaurants or coffee shops inside but i think they will open soon. Big car parkings are available. Train depart exactly on time
