The origins of the college The College of Applied Medical Sciences was established in 1426 AH under the guidance of Karim Sami from the shrine of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to change the name of the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences to the College of Medicine. Then the College of Applied Medical Sciences was established to be the second College of Health at Taibah University in Madinah. The college was established with the aim of meeting the community’s need for qualified health personnel in various diagnostic and preventive medical fields to keep pace with its rehabilitation with the level of advanced health service and to rise to the level of scientific and technical progress in general health fields. The College of Applied Medical Sciences consists of the following academic departments: Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, Department of Clinical Nutrition, and Department of Diagnostic Radiology Technology Vision The College of Applied Medical Sciences aspires to be a beacon for the transfer of knowledge and the achievement of partnership between the academic and health sectors at the local and national levels. the message The college seeks, through various programs and academic courses, to provide applications of medical science and knowledge for everything related to human health, through the education, education and graduation of national medical cadres working to harness all the knowledge gained in theoretical medical sciences and applied medical skills to serve the community. And work in the various fields that touch human health to be among the building blocks of a healthy society by spreading health awareness among community members and working in their various fields of specialization. Objectives 1. Graduating national cadres covering the medical work market, distinguished by sound Islamic ethics, with scientific, practical and research skill, aware of the meaning of responsibility, aware of the meaning of respect for the right to the profession, and able to carry out the tasks entrusted to them with regard to their applied medical specialties. 2. Continuous monitoring of the needs of the medical labor market to provide specializations that meet these needs related to applied medical sciences. 3. Developing the ability to give in the field of research by establishing and maintaining an excellent level of scientific research in the field of health and disease 4. Establishing graduate studies programs in the various specializations of the college. 5. The college seeks to obtain academic accreditation by upgrading the various departments of the scientific college to the international level.
