★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ? تعتبر قلعة خشم الذيب أحد القلاع العسكرية العثمانية التي بنيت في أواخر العهد العثماني وفي فترة الحصار الطويلة التي ضربها الهاشميون على منطقة المدينة المنورة وتقع قلعة خشم الذيب في الركن الشمالي الغربي من جبل أحد وتعتبر أول قلعة حماية في المدينة المنورة من جهة الشمال ويلاحظ القادم من المدينة المنورة المتجه شمالا لطريق عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه طريق العيون القلعة على الجبل من الجهة اليمنى بارزة وواضحة المعالم للعيان قام بإنشائها خالد باشا والي المدينة عام 1274 هجرية الموافق 1857 ميلادي توجد في القلعة 9 غرف و بها درج للصعود للدور الأول ويوجد بالقلعة برجان برج رئيسي وبرج ثان أصغر منه قطر القلعة حوالي 15 مترا وارتفاعها 7 أمتار توجد في القلعة فتحات للأسلحة والمراقبة وأيضا توجد فتحات أسفل جدار القلعة خاصة بالمدفعية يحد القلعة من الجهة الشرقية غرفة2*2
متر وهي معدة للمدافع وموجهة لجميع الجهات ..

 ? Khashm al-Dhib Castle is one of the Ottoman military fortresses that were built in the late Ottoman era and during the long siege that the Hashemites struck on the Medina region. The castle of Khashm al-Dhib is located in the northwest corner of Mount Uhud. Madinah heading north to Othman bin Affan Road, may God be pleased with him, Al-Ayoun Road, the castle on the mountain from the right side is prominent and clear for the eyes. It was established by Khaled Pasha, the governor of the city in 1274 AH corresponding to 1857 AD. There are 9 rooms in the castle and there are stairs to go up to the first floor and there are two towers in the castle A main and a second tower smaller than it, the diameter of the castle is about 15 meters and its height is 7 meters. There are holes in the castle for weapons and observation, and there are also holes under the castle wall for artillery. The castle is bordered by the eastern side, Room 2 * 2
meters, and it is prepared for defenders and directed to all directions..
