★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came 10 minutes late and got my appointment cancelled. I came another day 10 minutes before the appointment and got 2 hours waiting. How is that fair. If they make people people stay 2 hours and dont allow 10 min late thats a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting on Saturday with an appointment is utterly useless. Although the appointment was taken several days in advance, we ended up waiting well over an hour. The waiting time is totally unjustified and uncalled for, it seems a mess with a clearly un organized flow.
Should you ever consider coming to this center make sure you skip Saturday all together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The center has many reputable doctors specialised in various aspects of ophthalmology (eye and vision care). The clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Dr. Batal has made his way to be amongst the first class ophthalmologist in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and, also, his team has a proven track record of achievements and excellent performances. However, the center, unfortunately, lacks the basic customer service. It's nearly impossible to book an appointment, whether you trying to use the online booking service or you just simply trying to contact the centre's landline phone number or even the mobile number, let alone that the unified phone number (920006659) is out of order for so long now. I really don't understand why they can't fix this obvious issue with the customer service, especially that almost everyone is complaining about it. Nevertheless, I have reported this in person several times. If this issue goes further without serious reformation, it would be very shame.

I usually take him to doctors in London where he is tested thoroughly and every time I have been advised that he is stable and needs observing every 6 months. At Dr Batal’s clinic, I instantly noticed that very few tests were carried out and within 5 mins of seeing my child, Dr Batal came to the conclusion that an operation was needed. The lack of testing and quick conclusion put me in doubt. So I researched Dr Batal by asking friends in the ophthalmology field about him. Unfortunately they all said that he rushes into surgery and always better to take a second opinion. So today I visited the Moorfields Eye Hospital in Dubai where after thorough testing I was told my childs condition is stable and in actual fact he has slightly improved too. According to them there is absolutely no need for an operation. It’s sad to see that Dr Batal chooses fast money making before the health of a five year old child.
