★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant was called Bangkok previously and it's located just next to Thai Villa Restaurant. It had been around similarly long as Villa Restaurant but it's less popular because it serves only Thai food (there are few Thai here in Riyadh).
The new Bangkok restaurant is modern looking with new looking menu. Unfortunately, food is still the same and it's more expensive than before.
To be honest, they cook better Thai food than Villa especially the Tom Yam soup. I will recommend Baan Thai if you want to taste the more authentic Thai food in Riyadh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is neat and clean. The taste of the Thai dishes is superb. The only thing I did not like is the Filipino dish Kare-kare because it not the authentic Filipino in vegetable ingredients and in the taste. Overall its a good and affordable restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall very excellent compared to other Thai restaurants in Riyadh. The decor and place is clean and neat.
Most of the orders where really good but there are some that were a total disappointment.
We ordered many things but the highlights were the Tum kha soup (more flavorful than the Tom yum), pad Thai, papaya salad ( ask for it without the Pepper if you can't tolerate spicy food).
The dishes I don't recommend at all were the steak and the tepinyaki sizzling. Both orders are the same but one with veggies and one with corn cob. In addition to the masamman curry. It was not good and the meat was tough and not edible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! Lots of options. Everything was fresh. Check out picture to see what we got. The only thing we would not suggest was the Butterfish. It was very dry. Other than that, the food was delicious and the restaurant is very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fist time I went there I really enjoyed their pad thai and tom yum soup, next time we were 10 people and most of the food we ordered like Thai Curry, pan fish, shrimps were amazing like I had food at Nana road in Bangkok long time ago.
The only thing I had big concern about was fried rice, there was bad smell in that which almost every felt was bad, I think it was some mistake by the chef at that day if I may take it optimistically. Apart from that I would love to back again soon.

Pros:
1) Large portions and low prices.
2) Nice and clean interior.
3) Plenty of space and tables inside the restaurant. There are closed cabins who care about it.
4) This is the first restaurant I have visited where the employees thought to put a paper menu under the glass on the table, and therefore there is no need to use a digital menu, although it is also available. This is a simple but ingenious idea in its own way. Other restaurants should use it.
5) The food is generally tasty.
6) There are buttons for calling the waiters.
7) The staff speaks English well.
8) Fast food preparation.
Disadvantages:
1) As I said, the portions are large, but this applies, for the most part, to the soup. Yes, the portion of salad with duck was also large, but there are very few duck, and everything else is a vegetable mixture. The portion of Teriyaki meat was small and, to be honest, not the most delicious. Probably next time I will take exclusively seafood dishes. And the Dishes are noticeably different from what is shown in the pictures in the menu.
2) Very slow-moving waiters. Press the button or not, they go to you for a very long time. There was a feeling that 1-2 waiters were working in the hall, and they did not have time to meet everyone. At the same time, it was a weekday, and there were very few people.
3) Restaurant has no its own parking lots. We easily found a place near the entrance, but will it be possible to do it during the weekend?
So, this Thai restaurant has earned 4 stars. Minus for the sluggishness of the waiters and not very well cooked meat. But I will definitely try other dishes.
