( بالتاء المشددة المضمومة والواو المفتوحة والياء الساكنة وميم تصغير توم أو تؤم ). • وهي قرية من أقدم القرى في إقليم سدير ولذلك لم يرد لفظ التويم بصيغته المعروفة حالياً في المعاجم اللغوية العربية القديمة خلال القرون الثمانية الأولى للهجرة وكل ما ذكرته تلك المعاجم هو عن مادة التوم والتوم هو اللؤلؤ والواحدة تومة قال أبو عمرو :هي الدرة والتومة والتؤامية واللطيمة والعرب تسمي بيض النعام التوم تشبيهاً لتوم اللؤلؤ ويقال للدرة تومة تشبيهاً لها بما يساوي من الفضة كاللؤلؤ تجعلها الجارية في أذنيها أما التوأمية فهما درتان للأذنين أحدهما تؤامة. • الموقع : تقع بلدة التويم في وسط منطقة سدير في نجد على خط طول 85 إلى 45 شرقاً وعلى خط عرض 11 إلى 25 شمالاً، ويمر بها الطريق العام القديم الذي يربط الرياض- سدير- القصيم، على بعد 170كم من الناحية الشمالية الغربية عن مدينة الرياض وكذلك يمر بالقرب منها وعلى مسافة 11كم الطريق السريع الذي يربط أيضاً الرياض- سدير- القصيم. • Tuam ? (with the combined tightening of the bow, the open waw, the flat watt, and the ablution of tom or twin). • It is one of the oldest villages in the Sudair region, and therefore the term twins, as it is currently known in the old Arabic linguistic dictionaries, did not want during the first eight centuries of migration. The Arabs call the ostrich eggs a garlic-like tomite of pearls, and it is said that the pearl has a similarity to it for the equivalent of silver, such as pearls, that make it running in its ears. • Location : The town of Al-Twaim is located in the middle of the Sudair region in Najd, on a longitude of 85 to 45 east and at a latitude of 11 to 25 north. From it and at a distance of 11 km the highway that also links Riyadh - Sudair - Al Qassim.

L	Lwayer abdulmohsen Albader on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ مدينة التــويــم قيل أن معنى هذا الاسم يرجع إلى التوم وهو (اللؤلؤ) ويصغر بالتـويـم أسست مدينة التــويــم تقريبا في عام ٦٠٠ هـ من عوائل يرجع نسبها لقبيلة (عـنـزه) مع بعض العوائل من قبيلة (تميم) ، وهي أقدم مدينة في منطقة سدير . وقد سكنت ماقبل الهجرة ويوجد آثار تاريخية قائمة مثبتة لذلك . The city of Al-Tuwaim. Al-Tuwaim city was founded approximately in the year 600 AH from families whose lineage goes back to the (Anza) tribe with some families from the (Tamim) tribe, and it is the oldest city in the Sudair region. It was inhabited before migration and there are historical traces that prove it.
