One of the oldest archaeological site in city of Majmah. It has covred seating areas. The cleanliness of place is good. No cafe or shop inside so you need to bring your food and water with you. Sockets for mobile charging is available inside the seating areas. There is availability of washrooms which are very well maintained and clean. The view of the city is very good from the highest point of the tower. Alongside this site the old village is visible with old houses and streets. There is also a covered seating arrangement with carpet and majlis.

The castle looks very impressive from outside, unfortunately we could not go in as the gates were closed (we were there on Friday afternoon) and there is no posting as to what are the opening hours, if any. Fortunately, there is a very well preserved Old Town of traditional clay houses just by the side of the castle which was open for visiting, including a very interesting Workshop akin to mini museum with very friendly local people who showed the traditional tools and how things were made in the old days.

It was on 27th of December 2019, we have a trip to Mud City somewhere in Majma'ah City, with its old Munich Castle made of mud, it is located in Al Majma'ah, Saudi Arabia. It's really old so i can feel and see the vibes and its vibrant and saturation nicely, even it is already dark when we got there as clear as daylight. The culture and the old civilization, it's so old made me totally felt oh i am really a stranger here. I tried to capture moments as great as i can on this chance. It was a great experience, alhamdulillah, i want to have more moment to feel and see by my own eyes.

Mah'jmah town has a lot of lovely ruins to discover as well as the Castle which is mostly a tower. A lovely Quaint little town. Decent priced hotels, friendly people and nice restaurants once you get away from the freeway. An easy day trip from Riyadh.

The place could be an attractive tourist destination if it weren't for the devastation and desolation, and the mountains of rubbish everywhere - which demonstrate a lack of respect and interest in this historic site. Better to go to Ushaiqer - that village is much better preserved, is much more cleaner and there is a wonderful museum.
