★ ★ ★ ★ ★ وقد شرح الحديث ابن حجر العسقلاني في كتابه فتح الباري شرح صحيح البخاري كالتالي:
وقوله: (فعملها من طرفاء الغابة) في رواية سفيان عن أبي حازم " من أثلة الغابة " كما تقدم في أوائل الصلاة، ولا مغايرة بينهما فإن الأثل هو الطرفاء وقيل يشبه الطرفاء وهو أعظم منه، والغابة بالمعجمة وتخفيف الموحدة موضع من عوالي المدينة جهة الشام
وفي رواية أحمد: "فقال لها: مري غلامك النجار أن يعمل لي أعوادا أجلس عليها إذا كلمت الناس فأمرته فذهب إلى الغابة فقطع طرفاء فعمل المنبر ثلاث درجات فأرسلت به إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فوضع في موضعه هذا الذي ترون فجلس عليه أول يوم وضع"
The hadith was explained by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani in his book Fath al-Bari, an explanation of Sahih al-Bukhari as follows:
And his saying: (So he did it from Tarfaa al-Ghaba) in the narration of Sufyan on the authority of Abu Hazim “From Athlath al-Ghaba” as it was presented in the beginning of the prayer, and there is no different between them, for the tamarisk is a tamarisk and it was said that it resembles a tamarisk and is greater than it, and al-Ghaba with the dictionary and the mitigation of monotheism is a place from Awali al-Madina towards the Levant
And in Ahmad’s narration: “He said to her: Order your servant, the carpenter, to make me sticks to sit on when I speak to the people, so I commanded him, so he went to the forest and cut off the tamarisks, so he made the pulpit three steps, so I sent him to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he put it in its place that you see, so he sat on it on the first day it was laid.”
