Asked for a small plate of pastries, cashier was playing it for me with no gloves what so ever and when I asked her if that’s how they do it all the time she said “ i’m a cashier, I don’t have to be in gloves” some other dude in uniform was playing with his phone and when she asked him to serve another customer it took him two minutes to leave his phone!
Display fridges are mostly empty! And the whole place is just sad! How is places like going his still in business?
Saudis, raise your standards!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was not clear who to show my tawakelna app to when I walked in the shop and this caused some upset (someone started shouting at me, despite the fact I had my phone in my hand, with app opened). Then, I was not sure where to make an order. I approached the area with the samosas etc, which I wanted to buy and asked to buy some of the food items. The ladies behind the counter said they didn't speak English and looked like they were making fun of me for a bit (as they mimicked me and started laughing), which made me quite upset, but with my kids waiting and iftar soon approaching, I continued to try and make an order. One lady tried to serve me, but it was difficult to get what I wanted and no one could explain anything in English, or in basic Arabic. The variety of items appeared poor. What I ordered tasted no different to what I can purchase at Danube, with less trouble. My husband recommended the place to me and I was not impressed and asked him why he had sent me there. Not sure if I would ever go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dont buy anything from here. Absolutely horrible service and untrained staff and stale products. I went to Arbaeen branch and ordered two large cakes.
Then, I asked them to write a message on the cake. The lady simply said sorry she doesn’t have a pen. A pen? Who on earth writes on the cake with a pen? And what kind of bakers are you. You can’t write a simple message for your customers. From the lady’s attitude, she just didn’t want to make an effort.
I ended up buying only one. And oh god I regretted buying even that. Disgusting taste. Dry and stale! I only ate the one I got from munch. So my advice, go to Munch or other sweet shops that have better products and more professional staff.
