A must visit museum showing rich Arabian history. Good place to visit with children. They had cultural program and live music during Eid which was very refreshing and good to watch.

A place to have peace and calmness. This is the place of nature lovers, photographers, and for people who want to relax themselves. Amazing place. Love the surroundings. This place is specially for nature lover. Highly appreciated Saudi Arabia government for maintaining the ancient beauty with creative architecture. Highly recommended place. This place can be visited along with family, friends or alone. Do visit. It is located in Riyadh near batha.!!! Thanks & Regards, Yours, Wanderlust.

It is amazing with lots of plantation and greenery as well a museum beside it. But to our disappointment, there was not any play area with swings, slides etc. It has a waterfall and lots of green lawns. There is a fountain as well.

I visited during Eid holidays. But since I had visited with my friends, we’re not allowed to the park. We’re informed it’s only for the family. Don’t know it’s allocated only for families all the days or only in special days (no instructions about this). The security showed us an area outside the main park (allocated for non family members), which has nothing to watch. So finally it was a disappointing visit. But what I saw during short walk through park area; they are amazing, very calm environment and looked to be a nice place for family, especially for children.

I was told it was a nice place but it really exceeded my best expectations: the building alone would worth the visit. But then the museum is really very fascinating and it explains Saudi Arabia's history since prehistoric times. Artifacts, jewels and the whole exposed material show the different cultures and civilizations that inhabited the area. It's a pity the place closed down before we could conclude the tour dedicated to the foundation of the Kingdom, which was really interesting. Last but not least, attendants are very kind and polite. I'd strongly and definitely recommend a visit!

Never been here for a long time. The last time was, if I’m not mistaken, the park is not yet open from the other side (open fence). And the only way to get in here is thru the main door. And I’m surprised to see that the park is now open for public and no need to come from the inside of the museum. While walking through the park, I was amazed and surprised seeing this natural looking park. It is very clean, refreshing and relaxing. The ambiance is extremely wonderful. It is a great place for soul-searching and relaxation. It is highly recommended to visit this beautiful place at least once or twice a month or very often. Beautiful indeed!

If you are living/visiting the city of Riyadh, this Museum should be an item in the must see list! It is situated in King Abdulaziz Historical Center and surrounded with four very beautiful parks, Square, Grand Mosque, Palace etc. Inside the Museum you will start the journey with formation and history of different rocks, earth and universe, fossils, pre historic civilizations, all known civilizations in the Arabian Peninsula, their tools and formation of calligraphy, sculptures etc. It also demonstrates Islamic History, before Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), during his life including Hijra and Battles, and after his life. Different Caliphates like Rashidoon, Amawis, Abbasids, Ottomans etc are also shown. Modern technology has been well utilised for depicting different aspects and information throughout the Museum with the help of Audio Visual systems. You will not find enough time if you start late to explore the stalls, so be there on opening time itself.
