Al-Moghaisila Mosque This mosque was called in the old days the Mosque of Bani Dinar bin Al-Najjar from Al-Khazraj. Ibn Shabbah said on the authority of Abdullah bin Uqbah bin Abdul Malik that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, often prayed in the mosque of Bani Dinar with the launderers, and Ibn Zabbalah narrated on the authority of Ayoub bin Salih Al-Dinari that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, married a woman from Banu Dinar, and he complained (any illness), so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to visit him there, so they told him to pray for them in a place where they pray. The one behind Bathan, i.e., in the apartment of the Westerner, who is next to Al-Harra, said the mosque was washing in it..

Masjid-e-Moghaisalah: Some Sahabah from Banu Dinaar in Madinah had the profession of washing the clothes, they were called the “launderers”. Abu Bakar Siddiq رضي الله عنه married a woman from that tribe & once he was among the launderers from Banu Dinaar when he felt sick. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ visited him at the residence of Banu Dinaar & offered Salaat in their Masjid. Location of this Masjid is still preserved Alhamdulillaah. Some Muslims have a concept that offering Salaat at such Masaajid is Bid’at, it is not correct, he was famous Khalifa Umar Bin Abdul Aziz who built many Masajid at those locations where Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed, surely Umar Bin Abdul Aziz was more wise. And it was famous for Abdullaah Bin Umar رضي الله عنه that he remembered those locations & whenever he crossed such an area, he used to offer Salaat on that soil. As per Hadith of Aa'isha ( رضي الله عنها) there is no one like him who has followed in each and everything on the foot steps of Rasoolullaah (ﷺ).
