He was concerned about the cleanliness of my place during food presentation, my comfort and the quality of food.. I loved his smile, warm welcome and professionalism. Which gave me an excellent impression about the restaurant and the management because of it.. Thank you, dear Mr. Gilbert. Keep it up

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Chinese restaurant. I visited Mirage twice.
Advantages:
1) Beautiful Chinese themed interior. There are different types of rooms: open and closed, with chairs and designed to sit on the floor.
2) The food is wonderfully prepared. There is simply nothing to find fault with.
3) There is nothing redundant in the menu.
4) Portions are large enough to fill your belly to the gills.
5) The staff are helpful and polite, but ...
Shortcomings:
1) The language of the staff is poor. I mean, it's completely incomprehensible what they are saying while wearing a mask. I had to constantly ask them again, because it was impossible to understand them the first time.
2) Poor location of such an expensive restaurant. The view from the windows overlooks the repair shops and a large parking lot - the latter, by the way, can be attributed to the advantages.
3) The digital menu takes a very long time to load, while pictures are not always loaded.
4) The entrance to the restaurant is on the side, and it is very difficult to find it if you do not know where it is.
Despite the mentioned drawbacks, this is an excellent Chinese restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.

The staff are very nice and polite.. and the place looks good from inside.. the exterior indeed needs an upgrade..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had high hopes because the place looks cool in the advertisements. It has interesting decor in the public commons, but somehow a bit spooky feeling. They have mostly enclosed booth seating which should be nice but, as it is enclosed where you cannot see the main area where the decor is, the majority of the experience on the decoration side is boring within the dining cubicles only with views to the parking lot and freeway. The menu has a large variety and mixture of cuisines. However, we believe they should limit their offer to one cuisine and concentrate on doing those dishes exceptionally well instead of offering a large variety of mediocre dishes. We had crab, beef, tofu and hibachi prawn. The crab, beef and tofu were average - good but not memorable. The prawns were served on a hibachi which was stone cold and therefore the prawns were cold. We alerted the waiter who took it away for a while only to return with the same stone cold hibachi and prawns. They were also missing many several signature dishes which is super annoying because putting together a Chinese meal with the right combinations takes time. Lastly, seems small, but my wife was very disturbed by the red light in the ladies lounge which to her looked like the Hong Kong movies where they show cheap bordellos. All in all, we’re glad we went once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the old Chinese restaurants in Riyadh. Food quality and taste remains good over the years. The location and indoor decorations need upgrade. Service is very good. Prices are on the high side especially for the meat dishes.
I recommend the restaurant for nice family gatherings when you have appetite for good chinese food.
