Historical sites in Medina, Masjid Al Ghamamah and Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar are located near to each other. Sometimes people confuse the two. To differentiate them, Masjid Al Ghamamah has many domes while Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar is much smaller and has only one dome. Unfortunately it is not known if the mosque is ever open for public. Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar was built on the site that used to be his house. The area is located southwest of the Prophet's Mosque and a short walk away from the Holy Quran exhibition. The area surrounding the two masjids has been into a park with benches. Good for picnicking with family.

Beautiful Mosque, Situated near #MasjidNabwi It was rebuilt again during the reign of the Ottoman Sultan Abd Al-Majid I. The #Abu Bakr #Al-Siddeeq #Mosque is 15 meters to the southwest of Salman Al-Farisi #Mosque. It was reported that Abu Bakr, when he was caliph, prayed Eid prayer there. This is why it was named after him.

The 'Mosque of Abu Bakr As-Siddiq') is one of the oldest mosques in Medina, Saudi Arabia. It is located towards the south-west side of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. It is being said that it was a site where Muhammad ﷺ used to offer Eid prayers and the same tradition was continued by Abu Bakr after Muhammad's ﷺ death.
