★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A landmark erected to honour the spot that the late King Abdullah stood when he designated the area where KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) was to be built. The monument is shaped like an eye from ariel view.
The park around the monument is lovely. It has sea breeze and, an open field, playground and an amphitheater. Private parties can be held at this venue.
On Saturdays, there is a shuttle service that goes there and there are bouncy castles, an ice cream van and activities for children.
