★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely no information about the place how to enter.. I several times emailed them, contacted them on their Instagram but nooo answer from them at all. We went there but got turned down because we didnt hv an invitation even tho i was told it was open to families,we came all the way from Riyadh at 9am. Sooooo disappointing!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's closed morning time , Auction tent opens around 4.00 pm . for auctioning few falcons . Another smaller tent offers coffee as I was told by a bored security guard. All other large tents are closed all the time. Today is 3 November 2020.
There is a construction of a metal building which would serve as the main exhibition hall.
Absolutely no information desk or pamphlets or signs for visitors , a total lack of show professionalism ; both in the actual site or in the falcon club internet site. no schedule , no time tables ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For centuries Falconry has been an important aspect of arab culture and heritage. It was originally a method of obtaining food but now it‘s just a very popular hobby in most parts of the arabian peninsula and in 2010 it was declared by the UNESCO as a living cultural heritage.
The saudi falcons club is organizing a Falcons festival that aims to perserve inherent heritage of falconry and educate people about about it.
The festival includes several falconry tournaments with prices worth millions of Saudi Riyals, an exhibition covering falcons breeds, history and hunting techniques.
Also, there will be an art corner for work dedicated to falcons, a stage for arabic poetry performers, a kids corner and a bunch of other cultural activities.
It is an international celebration of art and the fascinating relationship between human and Falcons in Riyadh, the heart of the Arabia peninsula.
