★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IKEA food lives up to the brand’s purpose. It’s quick, nutritious and well-priced. I love the salmon salad and this is closely followed by the Chicken Waldorf salad. The ribs were succulent and tender with the perfect accompaniment of mashed potatoes and broccoli. For dessert, apple pie or carrot cake is best.
I thoroughly enjoy the food and dining experience but it is always crowded with families. Many don’t realize this is a stopover zone while shopping and instead spend the whole evening and occupy seating though they are not eating. Worse yet, some kids scream and run out of control. Perhaps the management could look into having a family zone and kids-free zone. I’d certainly enjoy my food more without worrying that I may spill my hot coffee on a child running around.
