★ ★ ★ ★ ★ تقع بلدة الغَّماس في الجنوب الغربي لمدينة بريدة في منطفة القصيم، يحدّها من الشمال بلدة العاقول ومن الجنوب محافظة عنيزة ومن الغرب محافظة البكيرية. وهي تتميز بموقع جغرافي استراتيجي، حيث انها تتوسط منطقة القصيم، ويقطعها عدة طرق رئيسية، ويمر فيها طريق المدينة المنورة، وطريق بريدة - المطار، إضافة إلى طريق عنيزة - المطار، كما يحدها من الشرق الدائري الغربي لمدينة بريدة، ويخترقها أيضا طريق بريدة البكيرية.
بلغ عدد سكان بلدة الغماس حسب ما ذكر في كتاب السيد لوريمر لـ عام 1394هـ قرابة 1370 نسمة وفي إحصائية مصلحة التعداد السكاني لعام 1433 هـ بلغ عدد السكان قرابة 2281 نسمة.
أنشئت البلدة في قرابة 1200 هـ
The town of Al-Ghammas is located in the southwest of the city of Buraidah, in the Qassim region. It is characterized by a strategic geographical location, as it mediates the Qassim region, and is crossed by several main roads, passing through the Medina road, and the Buraidah-airport road, in addition to the Unaizah-airport road, as it borders it to the western circular east of the city of Buraidah, and Buraidah al-Bukayriah also penetrates it.
The population of Al-Ghmas town, according to what was mentioned in the book of Mr. Lorimer for the year 1394 AH, is approximately 1370 people.
The town was established in about 1200 AH
