An iconic and unique mini museum with wide array of scaled-down version of mosques which shows the tradition and culture of the Arab society. It’s like you’re in a miniature world. In addition to it-No entrance fee.

I love this place. It's small but it may take you a while to really look closely and appreciate each sculptures and miniatures of mosques and heritage buildings all over the kingdom. Truly a-must-visit place. No entrance fee, opens at 4:30-6:30pm daily. I'm not sure if the man who saw us while we're waiting outside and opened the gate for us was Col Darwish himself but he was making a sign that he did all of the decorations ?☺️. Overall, the place is really great. #Saudiarabia #Jeddah #museum

Came across this beautiful art master piece while on a late night long drive. I loved it, so mesmerized by the miniature mosque structures that surround the compound wall. The entrance gate feels like a little time travel machine. I have lived my entire life in Jeddah and just came to know about it, I feel like I have missed so much! Can't wait to visit again, to admire more. I hope it is always preserved and kept safe, what a wonderful place.

A moment to appreciate Darwish Salamah for his talent and the amazing sculptures he made! The museum is free and all you have to bring is a smile and a camera to enjoy the arts there.

Certainly a underrated tourist attraction. But quite understandable as it’s actually a private home. I would advise others to be respectful of their privacy and don’t try to force entry into the place. We were lucky enough to meet some family members who invited us into the courtyard to take pictures. The outer walls are covered with miniature models of mosques and various landmarks in Saudi Arabia. It’s clear to see that each one was hand crafted with love. The attention to detail and use of color is amazing. We visited at dusk and the place had a mystical air about it. Almost expected to see miniature people coming out of the structures. No camera can truly capture the beauty. This is a place you have to visit and see for yourself to truly appreciate.
