★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: Very slow service, lack of personnel and somehow not always competent depending on what is asked of them.
Been in touch since Saudi closed their international borders. No one informed us of any flights after we refused the first repatriation flight option end of March (they gave us 10 mins to decide whether or not to take a very expensive flight without even knowing details on the actual destination, Paris or elsewhere). After that, we either didn’t get replies to our emails, or the response wasn’t helpful. Thankfully we are dual citizens and the Swiss embassy in Riyadh did a stellar job at informing us about policy development in KSA and repatriation options, so did the association Le Fil de Djeddah in the last couple of weeks. Now my family has returned to France but it wasn’t thanks to the GC of France.
