وما رواه ابن عباس قال: مر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بقبور المدينة، فأقبل عليهم بوجهه فقال: " السلام عليكم يا أهل القبور، يغفر الله لنا ولكم، أنتم سلفنا ونحن بالأثر". رواه الترمذي وحسنه.
