Bilal[a] ibn Rabah (Arabic: بلال بن رباح‎‎; 580–640 AD) also known as Bilal ibn Riyah, and ibn Rabah), was one of the most trusted and loyal Sahabah (companions) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He was born in Mecca and is considered as the first muezzin, chosen by Muhammad himself.[1][3][4][5] He was known for his beautiful voice with which he called people to their prayers. He died in 640, at the age of 57.

The places has many things to buy from clothes to toys and perfumes. However you will need to bargain for prices. Where if you lose the bargain you will have to pay a good amount for the product.

Masjid e Bilal (RA) (Mosque of Bilal) is a mosque located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, across the ring road, towards the south of and in close vicinity of Masjid e Nabwi (The Prophet (PBUH)’s Mosque). This mosque is historically and religiously important to Muslims because it is named after Hazrat Bilal (RA), the first Muazzin, which is someone who calls to daily prayers in Islam, and was renowned for his voice. He was a former slave and was one of the close companions of the Prophet (PBUH). Structure There is a bustling market on the ground floor and also next to this mosque, which is crowded with worshippers and visitors alike. The shops here are more authentic and pocket friendly, which is why locals love to take an opportunity to visit and shop when visiting Masjid Bilal (RA). While the ground floor is a market, the first floor of the mosque is a praying area.
