★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I tried this new burger joint at Al-Kindy Square. So if you are in Al-Safarat and you crave McDonald's' double cheeseburger, it is the place to go to. It is perfect if you work in the DQ and you want to grab a quick lunch. It is fresh, and they make everything by order. There is indoor sitting and outdoor sitting areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abu Najm - hmmmm… I had a chicken burger and fries. Nice enough. The burger was a bit like something from Shake Shack (both in terms of taste and in terms of that feeling of having just paid too much for something that left me feeling a bit hungry…). I’ll give it three stars because I like the concept, which basically seems to be ‘no frills budget branding from the eighties’; but the wait was unreasonably long for what should really be ‘fast food’. (Abu Najm seems very popular at the moment, hence the wait.)
I also recommend the location, in the heart of DQ. Usually there are a few people around, and Abu Najm nicely adds to the hustle and bustle.
