★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful experience. Efficient and polite service. Food quality and taste is of a high standard with a good selection and range of Japanese cuisine. Atmosphere was good. Went for lunch and it wasn't busy which was a shame. The road works are affecting the whole area but it is worth persevering. Olaya has some wonderful restaurants.

Interior : average
Staff : a bit over the edge
Food : here is the problem , portions are small , even sushi pieces are smaller than usual.
We had many dishes but unfortunately most of were below average .
Duck liver sushi ( stay away from it ) was very bad , I wish I can have my money back.
Chicken noodle soup; was below average and I will rate it 5 out of 10.
Spicy salmon sushi was great but small pieces will score it 9 9cer 10
Salmon sashimi : for the first time in my life I see the salmon bigger than the Rice ball .
And the last but not least :
Wagyu-beef sliced a pice that might be less than 100 GM and very thin .
Nothing in reality is the way it looks in pictures .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my worst experience in a restaurant ever. The food quality if below average. I ordered tempura maki, tempura, gyoza and the lamb chops. The tempura smell really bad. The lamb chops is over cooked and taste bad. The gyoza taste good but I tried way better than that. There were a fight between a customer and the manger and there were fighting in front of my table which ruined my experience even more. Overall experience not worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dinner for two at Yokari, the location interior is dated and should be updated. The food is excellent and well worth a visit.
We had Beef & Maguro (Tuna) Carpaccio - very good presentation and taste. Te Saku Saku Calamari very fresh, great presentation and tasteful. Our main dish was grilled Beef Wafu (Angus Rib Eye) with grilled eggplant, which is highly recommended and Yakiniku Beef with vegetables & Mushrooms. The service was great, helpful and thankfully was NOT rushing our finished plates of the table (well done!). We sent almost 700 SAR not bad and we very much liked the food.
Everything was well worth the money, co pared with other places in Riyadh. Give it a try, you will not regret the visit at Yokari.
