★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the number one place in Madeenah for authentic Yemeni cuisine. And, it's all good. Really good.
Don't be fooled by the surroundings or the decor this is as real and as tasty as it gets if you aren't interested in going all the way to Yemen itself.
There is always a crowd, however, the service is relatively fast. Eating there you'll feel like you pulled up into a restaurant right in Sana itself. If you eat in or out on the "terrace" you'll be served in traditional wares which also add to the taste and the overall experience.
The prices are easy on the pocket and the portions are decent.
So why 4 stars and not 5? In my opinion, a 5 star place may not be where you go to get authentic food, in an authentic environment.
