Luxarious rooms but the hotel is old and is located in the old area of batah. Customer service and and the wifi speed is great but the lift is old and has to cool down sometimes. Dont know about the facilities mentioned in the hotel’s brochure.

Unfortunately I had the worse experience. I arrived to Riyadh from another town 3 hours away. On a national holiday every where was fully booked. The reception who goes by the name of Mohammed Ahmed refused us to the room and said no guest after midnight. I explained I had checked in earlier and we where coming back from the hairdresser took 5 hours to braid my hair. But he would not allow us even though the booking was paid in advance with a Uk debit card, 2 adults in a twin room with 2 hotel keys. And to make things worse we had order food from the restaurant before we entered the room and it went untouched because we could not get back into the room. I explained that I was a teacher and he can check iqama we where not in Riyadh looking for a place to be naughty and he should respect the fact that his discrimination was unjust. He said he would check the iqama and let us know. Ridiculous. And British citizens or even foreign nationals can stay in a hotel with another person it’s not illegal. Also we where only going to eat refresh ourselves and return to our own city. My friend and driver. Tulip in Mr Mohammed Ahmed left us stranded. I was so upset we had no rest, that I rang Agoda Uk. But Mohammed Ahmed wouldn’t answer why we where not allowed into the room when Agoda rang them. I even threatened to call the police but he just offered that the manager wasn’t there. I am pursuing a refund and room service refund. My advice if your expat never book tulip in bad experience in Dammam their toilets always blocked and in Riyadh disgusting hospitality for a capital well know hotel. Plus they are in a very bad location in Riyadh and there is no parking apart from on street main busy road. And the hotel has a tiny entrance along a row of shops and its not anything like the picture. The security at the entrance are very rude as well before the reception they shout at you where are you going are you staying in the hotel, before you enter that’s not a problem but they don’t even have any hand sanitiser and I felt like it was just an excuse to receive a bribe. Might I add I was wearing and abiyah hijab and a mask black colour and there was no reason to disrespect and humiliate me in the way they did. But unfortunately for them I was not willing to pay a bribe. Don’t stay here You will really be disappointed if you book it in the first place. And the trade mark tulip inn should not be mistaken for Golden tulip. Totally a different class.

Stayed here 3 nights. The very friendly and helpful day receptionist changed my room and upgraded me when I was kept awake by strange noises the first night. Breakast was fairly basic but fine, dinners in the Filipino restaurant were good. My room was very spacious and even with aircon off quite cool. The hot water was never more than lukewarm. There is a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The hotel has a cafe/coffee shop as well as a restaurant. The hotel was better than I expected given some of the reviews.

It's from the outside looks bad but doesn't mean it's bad.. In the hotel, it's a perfect hotel and services Clean room, Clean hotel and great place to stay

Rooms, linen, bathroom all good. Breakfast served in the room, no buffet. The person in service very good in behavior co-operation and service but breakfast included just lentils, bread, boiled eggs and tea. On request bread and omelette was served with no additional cost. Check out took some waiting about 10-15 minutes. Although bottled water and minibar should have been free as per booking conditions extra money was charged. Unfortunately money was charged for chips also which were not there in the minibar. Location not good except for those who want to go in this particular area of Al Bathaa.

I have very bad experience!! Find an parking there is big task, staffs also not behaving well. Don't wanna visit again and don't recommend to others

This is good affordable hotel needs some improvement and up-gradation and its location is very busiest area in kingdom where all foreigners are visiting because of cheap markets around. I don’t suggest this hotel for those we want real rest and sound proof environment. Parking issue is always same as usual.
