โ โ โ โ โ This is good place to visit with friends and family. Kids will enjoy playing in sand. Itโs better to reach at 4pm. You can take quad bikes and have fun. Also there are spaces for sit and having a tea.
Take a 4x4 vehicle to go inside the sand. Will get good sunset ? view from here. Now the climate is good and sand is not that hot during evening.

โ โ โ โ โ Nice place for small group of friends. Needs more attention in furniture and kitchenette. Also adding better barbecue area instead if the current small and not efficient one.

โ โ โ โ โ Been here a few times... the sand in most places is not as soft as in Red Sand Dunes so you can risk driving your 4-wheel drive as long as you deflate the tires a bit. The first time we went we got stuck because I didn't deflate my car tires.
Quad bikes here are more expensive to hire out compared to Red Sand Dunes ... about 30 or more riyal per hour.
The scenery is great but because it's not being cleaned regularly there is trash lying around which kind of puts a dampener on things.
UPDATE: we went again on 17th April 2021 and the weather was amazingly cool, not hot at all, like it should be at this time of the year.

โ โ โ โ โ I think in Riyadh Thumamah national park is best for desert activities like cord bikes,desert safari also you can enjoy sunset and also good to spend night. For families you can book tent or kind of space for bbq and all.
