โ โ โ โ โ Can anyone share his experience of how this company evaluates the market price of the car to be insured? The market value they fixed for my car appears to be nearly 15 to 20000 higher. If it is higher the insurance premium will be higher too. Does anyone who insured with them feel they have fixed the correct market value (approximate) of their car that they insured? Ppl be careful. There are many ways they can make money in. I bought the car in Feb 2017 for a certain price. Now after two and half years the price the fixed by Tawuniya is 17 000 more than the price which I purchased the car two and half back? So at Tawuniya, at least in my case, there is no depreciation. The price only increased in two and half years. When I brought this to their notice, their reaction was " we cant help it, our system gives the value of your car as 60000! So because of their system you pay a higher premium! What a joke! Ppl be careful. I even offered to sell my car to them for 10000 less than the market price they fixed for my car! No response yet!

โ โ โ โ โ Excellent service during claim. I had Shamel takaful and when i went to claim the staff kindly referred me to a specific counter and from there he guided me with filling up the form and explained (in English) any fields that were not clear, and during the entire experience he was very polite and friendly. After 15 mins or so, he gave me a paper to provide to the car dealer for making the estimate. They also approved the request within 24 hours which was impressive. I will renew my takaful with Tawuniya again in shaa Allah
