★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a big fan of dates, and I have tried lots of date shops in Jeddah, Talah Al Jood is on of my favorite.
They serve:

Dates with filling
Maamool
Date squares
Arabic coffee
Date smoothie
Date chocolates
They have a huge selection of flavored dates, and thier dates are quite delicious, prices range between 110-140 SAR/kg, I would really recommend this shop especially for people who are into Arabic hospitality (ضيافه).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly unfortunately the quality went down and the price went up you walk around the store you will see many empty fridge shelves dim lights and some of the flavored dates are kept on the counter behind the reps uncovered...first of all the sliding automatic door was not working and employees just standing looking at each customer trying to open it manually rather than them rushing to open it. Then went on and ordered a plate as a gift and the rep said it will be enough to fit One kilo but when he was done I didn't like the end result as one side was higher than the other and it didn't look professional and neat as the way I used to know Talah for. I think the company need to give more trainings to their staff on customer service and food hygiene.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ unfortunately, very disapponting visit to Talah today. Very unproffesional staff with bad communication skills. I came to collect an order which my niece paid for. I was astonished with the poor quality and very unjustified price. Extra extra inflated price for a dish with a palm decoration filled with almost 1 kilo of date. The price was 650 SR.
The palm was made with a very poor material cost nothing while they charged 300 SR for. The dates literally costs less than 100 SR which they charged 300 SR. On the other hand the lighting of the shop was poor and the entrance sliding door is broken and neede someone from inside to open.
The company should take care of these notes as the market is very competitive.
With such standards It is doubtable they will persist.
