★ ★ ★ ★ ★ يعود تاريخ انشاء بلدية حائل الى عام 1381 هـ في عهد الملك سعود بن عبدالعزيز رحمه الله واطلق عليها مسمى بلدية حائل وكان الشيخ/ ممدوح بن سليمان آل علي أول رئيس بلديه لحائل .
وفي عهد خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز صدر قرار مجلس الوزراء الموقر رقم 224 في 1428/8/17 هـ القاضي بتغيير مسمى بلدية منطقة حائل الى أمانة منطقة حائل وترتبط البلديات بمنطقة حائل بأمين منطقة حائل.
وكان أول أمين لمنطقة حائل الدكتور/عبدالعزيز بن يوسف العمار
The establishment of the municipality of Hail dates back to the year 1381 AH during the reign of King Saud bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, and was named after the municipality of Hail. Sheikh / Mamdouh bin Sulaiman Al Ali was the first mayor of Hail.
During the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Council of Ministers issued Resolution No. 224 on 17/8/1428 AH, to change the name of the municipality of Hail region to the secretariat of the Hail region.
The first secretary of the Hail region was Dr. / Abdulaziz bin Yousef Al-Ammar
