مؤخرا إنتحرت ثلاث سروات، لازالت جذورهن في الأرض.
موت شجرة أحياناً مصيبة أكبر من أن يموت إنسان خبيث الروح.
كنت أجلس هنا مع صديقة لي قديمة جدا وعميقة جدا ومؤذية جدا ،إبتلعها الكون الآن.
نجلس ونستلقي ونحلم بالضباب الجنوبي أن يأتي كالسيل ليستبدل المدينة الجافة، بأخرى رطبة عذبة.
ويأتي..
الآن أنا هنا صباحات كثيرة، أقرأ، وأكتب وأغني وآكل وأحلم، أستمع للعصافير..وأوراق الشجر تسحبها رياح الخريف على الأرض الحجرية، وقرقعة طفيفة لبذور الجاكرندا، أو أصوات لعب الأطفال من البيوت القريبة.. أرى الحشائش تهاديها الرياح وتراقصها رقصتها الأبدية تحت أشعة الشمس الباردة الذهبية، ويلمع الندى في العشب المروي الأخضر.
كل هذا في هذة البقعة الخضراء الصغيرة.
إنها فقاعتي الآمنة وملاذي ومكاني الغير سري.

I was sitting here with a friend of mine so old, so deep and so mischievous, that the universe has now swallowed her up.
We sit and lie and dream of the southern mist that will come like a torrent to replace the dry city with a fresh, wet one.
And it comes..
Now I am here many mornings, reading, writing and singing, eating and dreaming, listening to the birds.. the leaves of the autumn winds on the stone ground, the slight clatter of jacaranda seeds, or the sounds of children playing from the houses nearby.. I see the grass flanked by the wind and its eternal dance under the sun Golden cold, and the dew shines in the green irrigated grass.
All this in this little green spot.
It is my safe bubble, my sanctuary, my secret place.
