★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very clean and comfy non stop bus service. I travelled from Medina to Makkah during Ramadan. They provide Iftar in bus with plenty of food, water, juice, and hot chai (green tea). Each seat is equipped with monitors to watch movies, route update, etc. there are USB ports and power ports to charge your devices on each seat. My seat was in last row and they ran out of headphones (bring your own). I’ll definitely repeat using the VIP bus service again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SAPTCO VIP COACH Review from Madinah to Makkah (best to view video landscape mode if not loading correctly)
Best and cheapest way to travel from Madinah to Makkah is via SAPTCO VIP government buses
You can catch it from south side of haram, opposite crowne plaza hotel and ticketd are around 23/25 pound per person(if paying with UK card transaction fees is a few quid) cheaper than taxi which will set you back around £100-110
You may want to take a cab to the pickup point, walking around with your luggage maybe a bit difficult on the roads, even tho our hotel was 2mins walk took the cab, especially if you have a lot of luggage
Coaches are comfortable bit like economy premium on an airline and you get a snackbox of juice, water, nuts and cakes and also hot drink
Free wifi availalble onboard along with an entertainment system with limited selection
Total travel time is around 4.5hours and it makes one stop via meeqat, although they dont stop for salaah, took the 10am bus
You can book tickets online via the saptco coach website (make sure your journey stop includes the vip stop locations) seatings are allocated on booking completion or you can choose your seats once booked
They run around 6 times per day perfectly safe and comfortable
There is also HHR fast train which takes 3hours but by the time you get there go through security etc it will probably just take as much time, plus HHR timings they run in the week is limited and more expensive and they have luggage restrictions, if in a large group be cheaper taking taxi but if alone or few people maybe cheaper taking the coach!

Haram will cost 25/30 SAR to get to your hotel
Or use uber whilst onboard maybr cheaper

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We used Saptco for traveling from Sharjah to Makkah... The service was good, but after that, their services around Makkah and Madeena were worst ; not attending our call, not keeping time punctuality, rude to passengers ; not allowing them to carry two bottles of Zamazm while two were legally allowed. Moreover they carried their own bottles of about 50 on the name of passengers to Dubai

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super comfortable, huge legroom, adjustable seats and non-stop less than 5 hours journey from Makkah to Madinah. They also provide snacks and coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Need to improve the customer service and also the buses maintenance.
Customer service at Mekkah didn't attend client request to have small money change and just ignored by playing the phone.
Bus is yawning all the way to Madinah make the journey feel very tiring.
Bus assistant is not helpful, only talking and helping selected customer.
In fact when we arrived at Madinah, we need to get ourselves under the bus to pickup the luggages.
