بحضور سعادة الأستاذ / عبدالعزيز بن أحمد الزبيدي نائب رئيس اللجنة الفرعية لاتحاد الكاراتيه بالمناطق الجنوبية اختتمت منافسات بطولة المجموعة الثالثة للأندية والهيئات لفئة الناشئين والتي أقيمت بصالة الهيئة العامة للرياضة بالمحالة بمنطقة عسير والتي شملت منافسات الكاتا والقتال الفردي والجماعي ، وجاء الترتيب العام للبطولة على النحو التالي في المركز الأول نادي الحي بالمركز الكشفي من منطقة نجران وجاء في المركز الثاني نادي ضمك من منطقة عسير والمركز الثالث حبونا من منطقة نجران وجاء رابعاً مركز سعد العنزي من منطقة نجران.
من جانبه أوضح الزبيدي نائب رئيس اللجنة ان لمثل هذه البطولات الدور الكبير في اكتشاف المواهب واكتسابها المهارات اللازمة لرفع المستوى في لعبة الكاراتيه مثمناً حرص واهتمام سعادة رئيس اللجنة الاستاذ عبدالله بن حسن حمدي ووقوفه الدائم في إظهار بطولات المجموعة الثالثة على أكمل وجه والسعي في نجاحها على كافة الاصعدة شاكراً منسوبي مكتب الهيئة العامة للرياضة بمنطقة عسير على حُسن الاستقبال والتنظيم وكرم الضّيافة، وتسخير كافة مرافق المدينة الرياضية لخدمة اتحاد الكاراتيه واللجنة الفرعيّة بالمناطق الجنوبيّة ، واختتم حديثه بشكر كل المشاركين في البطولة من لاعبين ومدربين وإداريين وحكّام وإعلاميين وأولياء أمور ، متمنياً للجميع التوفيق في قادم البطولات .
Group C Junior Championship Ends
In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al-Zubaidi, Vice-Chairman of the Sub-Committee of the Karate Federation in the southern regions, the third group of clubs and bodies for the junior category concluded in the hall of the General Authority for Sport in the district of Assir, which included kata competitions and individual and collective fighting. The first place is the Neighborhood Club in the Scout Center of Najran. The second place is Damak Club from Asir and the third place is Habona from Najran. The fourth place is Saad Al Anzi Center from Najran.
For his part, Al-Zubaidi explained that such tournaments have a great role in discovering talents and acquiring the skills necessary to raise the level in the game of karate. Asaad thanked the staff of the General Authority for Sport in Asir region for the good reception, organization and hospitality, and harnessing all sports city facilities to serve the Karate Federation and the sub-committee in the southern regions. N players, coaches, administrators and referees, media and parents, wishing all success in the upcoming tournaments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indoor and outdoor fitness and sports facility located on the Northwestern side of Duwadmi. The indoor facilities are limited but the outdoor facilities are very good. It includes football ground, basketball court, volleyball court and hockey ground. These grounds and courts are encircled by a running track which can also be used for cycling. You can take your kids alongside as a dedicated kids playing area has been provided within the complex. Sufficient number of slides, swings, seesaws, etc. have been provided in the kids area which has been kept logically separate from the main outdoor facilities.
I was surprised that the Kingdom has provided such a facility with floodlights and quality outdoor infrastructure in a small city like Duwadmi. I am aware that similar such facilities are in plenty in other cities and towns for the Saudi citizens.
Overall the place is very good, well maintained and tidy.
