Spend over night desert camping but real enjoyment comes after rain. 2 March was an amazing day at kharara. Kharara with a combination of rain and sand dunes it's makes your visit memorable. Spending night in desert with full camping is like too awesome. You cook food play soccer it's really amazing. For those who has 4*2 car don't put your car in sand unless in really rainy season. Again no bathroom guys so make sure you have something a shower tent for your families. It's safe as far as you are with couple of families.

Alkararh is one of the nearest(around 50 km from Riyadh) places that has one of the biggest dunes in Riyadh region, it almost great to visit it any time during the year except during day in the summer, but the best time to visit it is in the winter and rain season, because Alkararh has a big valley/lake that is filled during the rain season only.

This area South West of Riyadh is where you will find camels roaming free and modern Bedouins enjoying the freedom to drive their 4x4s. Watch the sun set over distant mountains. Remember to take your plastic waste home with you.

People come late afternoon these days because it’s too hot but really a nice escape! ? however, let us keep it clean.. I feel sad, people just leave their trash like it’s a big dumping area. Let us maintain the beauty of the desert! Clean as we go please ??
