★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an honor to be invited to take part in a tasting at Qz. The burger was my favorite. The texture of the soft brioche bun and smell when you go in for a bite alone is enough to try this sandwich. The pressed Angus beef patty was crispy and juicy. You can actually taste the cheddar cheese. The Qz sauce is well balanced, tastes like a ketchup garlic mix with some secret spices. The Qz burger overall is a solid choice that I would highly recommend you try first.
The Qz chicken sandwhich came on a toasted brioche loaf bread with cheddar cheese and Qz sauce. The chicken was juicy and cooked all the way through with a nice crunchy breading. Overall the sandwhich was very filling and highly recommend if you want something other than beef.
The Qz grilled cheese was a pleasant suprise. Toasted brioche toast with beef bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese and truffle oil makes for an explosion of flavor. If you're looking for something with layered flavors don't miss out on this sandwhich.
If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss out on the Qz French toast. It comes as a brioche cube toasted on all sides. Stuffed with a chocolate filling smothered in a dulce de leche sauce with a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, with crushed corn flakes and pistachios.
The fries were crispy and light with a dusting of paprika like powder. Simple and delicious.
Pros:
The food was very fresh and made to order.
All of the brioche sampled was of the highest quality.
Simple and to the point
Cons:
No real cons. I wish they had coffee to go with the French toast cube. The owner said he will add it in the near future.
