★ ★ ★ ★ ★ {وَأَقِيمُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ} [الأعراف : 29]
كتب السعدي في تفسيره { وَأَقِيمُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ }أي: توجهوا للّه، واجتهدوا في تكميل العبادات، خصوصا { الصلاة } أقيموها، ظاهرا وباطنا، ونقوها من كل نقص ومفسد. { وَادْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ } أي: قاصدين بذلك وجهه وحده لا شريك له. والدعاء يشمل دعاء المسألة، ودعاء العبادة، أي: لا تراءوا ولا تقصدوا من الأغراض في دعائكم سوى عبودية اللّه ورضاه.{ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ } أول مرة { تَعُودُونَ } للبعث، فالقادر على بدء خلقكم، قادر على إعادته، بل الإعادة، أهون من البداءة.
{And set your faces at every mosque and call upon Him, being sincere to Him in religion, as you began to return} [Al-A’raf: 29]
Al-Sa’di wrote in his Tafsir: “And establish your faces at every mosque,” meaning: turn to God, and strive to complete the acts of worship, especially “Prayer.” Establish it, outwardly and inwardly, and purify it from every defect and corruption. {Call upon Him, being sincere to Him in religion} i.e., intent upon Him alone, without partner. The supplication includes the supplication of the question, and the supplication of worship, i.e.: Do not look and do not intend in your supplication other than the worship and pleasure of God. {Just as He began you {the first time} to return} to the Resurrection, so the One who is able to begin your creation is able to bring it back, rather the repetition is easier than the beginning.
