★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first time I visited Paul was when we were in Bahrain. Red Sea mall branches is always packed. I should have taken the berry tart instead of Banana Mystery was little bite hard. It looks like there was a hard biscuit on the bottom. My mistake, I should have eaten it by using my hand not a fork ? Latte was good thou.

Ambience. In the mall but super clean and spacious. 5/5
Food. $$$ Prices are reasonable for the range they are aiming for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was amazed by the quality and the service. The place is quiet and elegant like the French style. The barista made my day by drawing a panda ? on my cappuccino. The deserts are fresh and tasty ?. Good value and speedy service.

Amazing dishes, love the smoked salmon sandwich, sweet potato has part taste of croissant which we loved, burger is amazing and off course the desert is Wow! Place not be missed…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This branch does not keep up to the standard associated with Paul. While the ambiance is good and setup is spacious, close up the tables looked dirty and worn. Waiter explained that the wood is sticky and has been damaged by wet tissues. We expected he would put a table cover or placemat,but nothing. A lot of noise, usually in other branches this is masked by some soft music. Bathrooms were quite messy and smelt bad.
Our waiter was not well-trained at all. He brought us ice cream bowls to drink water. Upon my insistence he went back to look for other glasses but brought soda glasses. We ate soup with a salad spoon because he didn’t know the difference. Then he forgot two dishes and told us there was no complimentary bread basket available. Another waiter brought it upon our request.
The saving grace in this, was that the chefs are very good and food tasted exceptionally good. Quantity was more than enough and presentation was amazing.
I’d suggest you visit another branch if you want a truly Paul-level experience.
