★ ★ ★ ★ ★ أم المؤمنين أم سلمة هند بنت أبي أمية المخزومية هي إحدى زوجات الرسول محمد، ومن السابقين الأولين في الإسلام، كانت زوجة لأبي سلمة بن عبد الأسد، وهاجرت معه الهجرة الأولى إلى بلاد الحبشة، وأنجبت منه أربعة أبناء، وعند الهجرة إلى المدينة المنورة منعها أهلها من الهجرة مع زوجها، ثم خلّوا سبيلها فأخذت ولدها وارتحلت، حتى لقيت عثمان بن طلحة بالتنعيم فأوصلها إلى يثرب، وقيل: إنها أوَّل امرأة خرجت مهاجرةً إلى الحبشة، وأول ظعينة دخلت المدينة.[1] ولمَّا توفي أبو سلمة سنة 4 هـ إثر جرح أصابه في غزوة أحد، تزوجها النبي محمد.

And when Abu Salamah died in the year 4 AH, following a wound he had sustained in the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet Muhammad married her.
