Best time to visit is morning, as it is less crowded at that time..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a good place for outing and small gathering with family members or friends in Riyadh. Of course, it is ideal during Winter and Spring seasons. However, it is always crowded during the weekend and holidays, especially at the evening time. The place is a valley surrounded with yellow stone, and overlooking a small lake, which has been inhabited by ducks and some other migrating birds. Along the valley, there are many walking paths that are embedded with palm trees and some other local plants. There are as well concrete-benches, toilets, and parking spaces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is always interesting to explore. Many activities can be done. My little explorer loves to feed the fish in the lake with biscuit crumbs or chase dragonflies. The shady trees around the lake are a favorite spot for family picnics. It seems that fishing is allowed here, because one or two people are always seen fishing. On weekend mornings, this place is always crowded with cyclists. Because the sidewalks are quite wide, many also jog or take a leisurely walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went very early to this park on Kingdom Day to run with others. Even early there were many people there. The park has some open spaces for picnics, but the space is limited. You may have difficulty finding a picnic spot.
This park seems to be a starting place for runners and cyclists on weekends. For these activities it is best to arrive before dawn to beat the heat and the crowds.
