Narrated by Muslim in his Sahih: “Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to visit them from time to time, day and night, and he visited them and greeted them, peace and blessings be upon him, and prayed for them, and said: Peace be upon you, the home of a believing people, and we, God willing, will follow you. May God have mercy on those who came from us and those who came later, we ask God for us and you wellness, God forgive us and you.This was what he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did. The believer is enacted for him to visit her; Because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did and said, his saying: Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter. The purpose of the visit is to supplicate for them to pray for the dead for forgiveness and mercy, the remembrance of the Hereafter, the remembrance of death, and preparation for that, this is what is meant.
