★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, one of the best and Authentic Indian restaurants I've been to so far in Saudi. Most of the Indian restaurants I've visited here in Saudi never served the authentic Indian style and taste and their taste remained bland. However, in Malabar, Food was super good, loved their butter chicken and Dal Tadka. Generous food portion and normally priced. The ambiance is modern, contemporary, and beautiful.
However, the reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the staff and service. The staff is unprofessional, Doesn’t know how to explain and take orders properly, and Doesn't know much about the Indian Cuisine. They served me food after 1 hour of waiting even though the restaurant was empty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambience of this restaurant is amazing. Particularly the rooftop terrace is an experience in itself. The BBQ grill was very tasty but the quantity was a little disappointing. There was no sauce or condiment accompanying the grill nor were there any grilled veggies served as advertised in menu.
The hot appetiser basket and spaghetti was a super hit with kids. The cheese naan was a bit burnt and was mediocre.
The butter chicken curry was also great. Usually when we parcel restaurant food and rewarm it the next day its not edible at all. The quality of food is excellent as it tasted perfect even the next day.
The daal makhni was super yummy. Service was good. Bathrooms were very clean and welcome respite for tourists.
Overall good place for a fine dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambient of Restaurant very tide and clean. The welcome captain Mr.Solaiman very kind and supportive. Food taste fair and above average. I had ordered chicken masala, chicken teka tandoori and garlic bread.
All were good except garlic bread is dry and not flavored.
I had eat in Mahrani restaurant Khamis but Malabar is better
