★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O-Kazu is a chic Japanese dine-in restaurant situated close to the Financial district.
Very friendly and high standard service by the staffs. The only Japanese restaurant around that welcome me to mix my orange juice with carrot and without any ice (full glass). The restaurant is still in soft opening mode so do give your honest suggestion to them.
I tried the Crispy Hamachi, Dynamite Maki, Mixed Mushroom salad and Wagyu Ishiyaki. I like the Dynamite Maki, every part tasted very fresh. The best Dynamite Maki so far in Riyadh. Mushroom salad was quite special and tasted very Japanese. The Wagyu Ishiyaki tasted okay and juicy but was slightly over-grilled. It's a little waste of a grade 9 Wagyu meat. Suggestion - Wagyu Ishiyaki should be served/recommended medium rare considering the cooking hot stone.
There is no 4 and a half star here so I gave them a 5 star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were a party of two we went there for late lunch on a Sunday late afternoon. The service was really good and the food was amazing. Every dish was really good in quality and taste. I do highly recommend the rice with mushroom. The miso soup, calamari and the torched salmon from their sushi was perfect. Their maki rolls were amazing too. I’d visit again to try more dishes and have their green tea again!

Loved the welcoming drink
We ordered:
spicy edamame: it was juicy!
Crispy kani salad: I don’t like how they’re serving the crispy crab with square cut lettuce
Dynamite maki: soooo yummy you could taste all the flavours
Okazo shrimp blast: sweet and spicy shrimp!!! Different in a unique way, i could eat it alone
Mount fuji: spicy berries!!!!!! Incredible and amazing, if you like to try new flavours gooo for it

Fuji mountain mojito was yummy and unique.
Black code and mushroom rice were great combination.
Amazingly beef tataki.
Maki rolls plater were tasteful. I loved their signature maki and volcano maki.
Lamb chops were yummy. It comes with honey sauce with chili flakes.
Highly recommended for wagyu ishiyaki.
Date pudding is the best way to end.
Two thumbs for their service. Jason and Rengo were friendly with us.

Loved Miso soup and Kinoko-Gohan (mushroom rice) also steak was good.
Sushi Roll is good too and don’t forget the Fuji-Yama drink ! Spicy drink;) I loved it
I wanna try more !!!!!
